PMC is a vision of French skateboarding. It all started a decade ago, in the western Parisian suburbs, when Big Brother magazine was still being published, pants were worn large and low, THPS 1 was about to come out, shoes costed an arm and a leg and were worn until they disintegrated, hair was long and shoe-goe was still used. Based on such precarious tastes, those of a generation, time acted as a filter.

Today, PMC is a clean and elegant skateboard style, that of technical tricks and a uniform of black pants/white top, the result of hours spent cruising the streets of not only Paris, but also Barcelona and London.

However, under that shiny appearance lies dirty and grimy layer: broken teeth, dust, sweat and piss, cheap beers and chaotic road trips, all the while living it up to the beat of French hip-hop.

In the end, PMC is just a group of old friends, as excited as the first day spent skating together, meeting up in the Paris’ 11th district to skate, drink a few beers and share the passion with young street kids.

The idea behind setting up a brand was to bring all these influences and values together into a good quality product. Every person involved in the brand, loosely or tightly, is a friend whose work we appreciate. The bottom line: if you don’t work with the homies, who the fuck are you going to work with?
