What a great recrsoue this text is.
The short answer is yes you can still take a derivr safety course even if guilty. If you are found not guilty, you would pay nothing. I am not certain how Alabama does it, but most states you would still pay quite a bit going to traffic school. Most of the time you are required to pay a fee for the school (say $ 50), and you still have to pay the court costs , which can be another $ 100 or so. You will likely end up paying the same amount or a bit less, but at least it wouldn’t affect your driving record or insurance rate. Another option is to fight the ticket in court, you may get out of it completely, or the judge may take pity on you and cut you a break. Also, if the officer doesn’t show, they will likely dismiss the ticket. Best advice it to go to court, tell the judge your situation and hope for the best. Good luck.
